Camp Hope is an interim and transitional housing facility for Combat Veterans with PTSD and their families. The Camp Hope facility opened in 2012 and is in a quiet and safe setting in Houston, Texas. Veterans and their immediate family members can find healing, help, and hope through intensive peer support and mentoring program for those who suffer combat-related post-traumatic stress. Texas Strong Small Business
The Texas Strong Small Business Foundation (TSSBF) has given an initial $20,000 grant to small businesses in Texas, affected by the Covid-19 shut down.
To help local, small businesses, donate here.
The initial grant of $20,000 will come out of funds in the TSSBF budget originally donated by Federal American Grill. Your donations to TSSBF will be added to that amount. Every dollar donated will go directly to local, small businesses to help them maintain employees and pay rent and bills during this devastating time.
“Our hearts go out to everyone in Texas who has been affected by this shut down. We appreciate the generosity of our donors, who will allow us to offer assistance to those most in need,” says TSSBF Board Chair Matt Brice.
The first recipients of the initial grants are 3 local business owners (100 employees or less). TSSBF is in a strong position to help the people in Texas who need it the most.

Dec My Room’s vision is to create personalized healing places for long term pediatric and young adult patients.
We enhance the lives of children who are admitted into a hospital for a prolonged amount of time, three weeks or longer. Dec My Room Volunteers personalize the hospital room upon their arrival with items that complement the special likes and interests of the individual patient. These items are for the patient to enjoy during their stay and take home when they leave. Dec My Room is a unique and innovative charitable program. Our efforts help improve the attitudes of patients and their healing process. Dec My Room is funded by grants, charitable donations, and volunteers support.
